In the title compound, (C24H20As)2[Co2(C6H6NO6)2(OH)2]·8H2O, the 924 CoIII atom in the binuclear centrosymmetric anion is octahedrally surrounded by one N atom and three O atoms of the tetradentate nitrilotriacetate ligand and Machine Needles two μ-hydroxide ligands.The crystal packing is controlled by C—H.O and O—H.O hydrogen-bonding interactions.The crystal employed in this study proved to be a two-component twin around (0overline 11).
